After just coming back from her concert, I obviously
can't sleep and have to rave about her beauty and her talent and her closeness
to perfection. That woman is unbelievable. Such a beautiful voice, whoever said
that she lacks emotion must be deaf, I've never heard so much emotion in
someone's voice. And with the exception of one song at the end, no mistake or
wrong note came out of her mouth. She is so gorgeous and classy and majestic
and has such a warm and kind smile and is so expressive and you can tell she
really loves being on stage and loves the audience.
She's changed so much since she was in Nightwish, she was so full of energy, jumping around all the time (without overreacting the slightest bit) and even when she was doing sillier things, she still was incredibly sweet and adorable. I think she was pleasantly impressed with the audience, she looked like she was having a great time. And, need I say again how beautiful and talented and charismatic she is and what an amazing voice she has?
And as unimpressed as I was with her songs at first, I have to say some of her ballads are gorgeous. I was just standing there staring at her and I realised I literally forgot where I was and who I was with. It was only when the song ended and the crowd started cheering that I came back to reality. This is what I want from music, to make me get lost like that inside it. And as mean as this might sound, the second she started singing Sleeping sun, all I could think about was "yes, this is how this song is meant to be sung" (sorry, Anette). It was gorgeous. So was Oasis, what a beautiful song! And I was very happy she sung Kinslayer, it was great for firing up the audience. Better then any of her songs, I have to admit, her ballads are great, but she lacks the balance with more powerful songs (on the album I mean, because the setlist for the concert was perfect).
